Complaints

Transparency Maldives (TM) is committed to accountability, integrity, and transparency. We welcome feedback and encourage anyone to raise concerns or complaints about our work, conduct, or operations.
 

What Can You Complain About?

You may submit a complaint or concern relating to:

  • Unethical or inappropriate conduct by TM staff, management, or Board members
  • Corruption, fraud, misuse of funds, or conflicts of interest
  • Abuse of power, harassment, discrimination, or bullying
  • Safeguarding concerns
  • Breaches of TM policies or codes of conduct
  • Concerns about TM programmes, activities, or services

We also welcome complaints and feedback from programme beneficiaries, partners, and members of the public.

Who Can Make a Complaint?

Anyone can submit a complaint, including:

  • TM staff or Interns or volunteers
  • Partners or contractors 
  • Beneficiaries of TM programmes
  • Members of the public

You may submit a complaint with your name or anonymously. Anonymous complaints will be reviewed, though limited information may restrict how fully we can investigate.

How to Make a Complaint

You may choose the channel that is most comfortable for you. All complaints are treated seriously and confidentially.

Confidentiality and Protection

  • All complaints are handled confidentially.
  • Information is only shared with those who need to know.
  • TM has a strict non‑retaliation policy. Anyone who raises a complaint in good faith will be protected from retaliation or negative consequences.
