To work towards minimum standards of climate finance governance,\u00a0Transparency International<\/a>, Adaptify, and\u00a0Brown University<\/a>\u00a0began working under the\u00a0AdaptationWatch<\/a>\u00a0partnership to design a new approach to raise governance performance for climate adaptation finance. A conceptual framework and methodology were designed in collaboration with\u00a0Transparency Maldives<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB)<\/a>. Key stakeholders from government, business, and civil society were involved in the process to agree on standards for good governance. Governance processes that can be employed to improve performance to achieve these standards was also discussed.<\/span><\/p>\n

This report discusses the overall climate finance governance approach, builds on the results of the study done in the Maldives, and discusses the next steps for improving and sharing this approach widely.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
