Theme: Who Am I?

Transparency Maldives’ MAAHARA Digest #6, invites artists to submit, poems, personal essays and artworks that explore the theme of self-identity – Who Am I?

Consider this theme to be as broad as possible; how your roots and culture shape your identity, memories and the feelings of nostalgia surrounding your identity, how your identity is articulated through the daily routines of life, the role of community in shaping a person’s life and the fears and uncertainties of the future.
