Corporate Governance Transparency Index (CGTI) for State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs)’ was developed under the project “Maldives: Enhancing the Practice of Business Integrity” funded by the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE)”.
A key objective of the project is to improve transparency and accountability of SOEs’ management and governance. The CGTI was developed with the objective of assessing and understanding the current disclosure of corporate governance practices among SOEs in the Maldives. The report includes methodology, detailed explanation of the CGTI assessment framework and the evaluation of 5 pilot SOEs.
